  1. Yup, it was a mid-size store in downtown.  When I went there on one evening during work days, there were only 2 staffs in the cashier.   I bought a Range Finder (which I returned the next day because it was broken).

The cashier was very unprofessional in talking to me (which was a young guy ).  He talked to me like this when I approached him:

"What'ssup man."   When I gave him money.  "Dude, do you have smaller bill?".   Then he just wrapped up the binocular and says nothing.   No thank you and have a good day??

What kind of a store is this golfsmith??

  2. I go to the Golfsmith store in Santa Clara and always have a pleasant experience. If you're in the area, I would reccommend stopping there. I have been to the one in SF and nothing really stood out with regards to the customer service. I was basically just "killing time" during lunch at a conference. Besides, as small as the SF store is, I can't imagine it would have near the inventory as the other Golfsmith stores in the area could provide.

  3. try the Golfsmith in Dublin, Pleasanton...i've been there couple of times...the customer service is great.....and they have a small driving range for club testing...associates there are very helpful.
