  1. I highly recommend it. If you like wooden coasters, definately visit this park. This park has three wooden coasters (Voyage, Raven, Legend) that have been voted to be among the best by readers of Amusement today, which is a trade magazine. Voyage is my overall favorite coaster.

The waterpark is also fun with alot to do. This park is clean and well kept, and has that small family owned feeling. This park has free unlimited sodas and sunscreen. Definately visit this park.

Holiday world is a popular destination for coaster enthusiasts and all three of their coasters can be found on many enthusiasts' top ten lists.

  2. It's a nice little park, but if you're a real thrill-seeker it's probably not the park for you.  They have 3 wooden coasters, 2 of which are VERY good (Voyage and Raven) and a small drop tower.  Voyage was actually voted the #1 wooden coaster in the world last year.  Other than that, the theme park is very small compared to others.  We rode basically everything in the park last June 2-3 times in 4-5 hours then went over to Splashin Safari for the rest of the day.  Splashin Safari (their waterpark) is VERY good, we had a blast in the waterpark.  Plus there are no fees to rent tubes, etc. like most other parks.

One very nice thing about Holiday World is that it's a very family-friendly park.  FREE SODA yes I said FREE, free parking if I remember right and very cheap food (and the portion sizes are big).  Also, FREE suntan lotion located all over both the theme park and waterpark.  I already mentioned free tubes also.

Bottom line:  If you're a real thrill-seeker and coaster fanatic, go up to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio instead or Kings Island in Cincy.  No park in the world even touches Cedar Point but if you're just looking for a nice, fun day, Holiday World will do the trick.  Have a good time!

  3. Yes I would recommend it...And yes it was very fun...Alot of people were I live drive apox. 100  miles just to go there and they love it..My kids enjoyed it to when we went. And one of the super things about this park is soft drinks are FREE.They have stations around the park all you have to do is go in there and get a glass and get as much as you want at no charge..

They have rides for all ages too...It isnt as huge as some parks but for one or two days of good fun I would recommend it..And its not super high either like some parks..
