If so, what is the best attraction (besides the Eiffel Tower) that you had the opportunity to visit. Also, what was your number one favourite thing about the city?

  1. I'm agree with everybody

    hi !

    Welcome !!

  2. You could be there for a month and not see everything.  Monuments include the Arc de Triomphe, cathedrals include Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle (on the same island as Notre Dame - go on a sunny day), museums include the Louvre (classic), d'Orsay (impressionist & more), Pompidou (modern) as well as several specific ones such as Cluny (middle ages), Rodin, Picasso, etc.  Plus there are famous areas like around the Sorbonne University and Montmartre and then the general ambiance of the city - sitting at a sidewalk cafe, discovering all the beautiful Parks (Jardin de Luxembourg,  Buttes-Chaumont).  Enjoy it!!!

  3. Attraction:  Notre Dame.  Even though it is often filled with tourists milling around, there's still a great sense of peace that fills me whenever I walk in.  The architecture is lovely, and the stained glass windows are vibrant.

Favorite thing:  the energy.  Even at midnight, there are still people out and about in abundance, finishing dinner, socializing with friends, just living.  As a night owl rather than a morning person,
