  4. I've never been there but very often in its neighbours (Caserta's city).

However I've found for you following info:

Pietravairano (ZIP code 81040) belongs to the province of Caserta and is 46 kilometers far from Caserta, that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province.

The municipality of Pietravairano had a popolation of 3.107 inhabitants (called Pietravairanesi) accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the last national census made in 2001 the population was 3.022 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of -2,74% inhabitants. The inhabitants are distributed in 1.070 families with an average of 2,82 people per family. Having Pietravairano a population of 3.022 inhabitants and a surface of 33,2 square kilometers its population density is of 91,02 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The territory of the municipality lies between 88 and 588 metres above sea level. The altimetric spawn is thus of 500 metres.

There are 16 industrial firms employing 115 people that are the 23,14% of the total of the workers. There are 86 service firms employing 137 people that are the 27,57% of the total of the workers. There are also 68 firms employing 158 people that are the 31,79% of the total of the workers. There are also 11 administrative offices emplying 87 workers that are the 17,51% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 497 workers, that are the 16,45% of the inhabitants of the municipality.

If you've anchestors originating from this municipality you could be interested in knowing the most common family's names still resident in this area.
