Yes, it is a wonderful and charming little town. If you are going to Sicily and are in the area you should visit!

Leave some extra time to sit at one of the outdoor cafes and sip a good glass of Italian wine. Watch the people go by! Relax! This is Italy at its best!

YES!!! I was there for my honeymoon 2 years ago and it was fantastic. The people, the views, the town, the history....incredible! As luck had it, we were there for the Taormina Film Festival and we got to look at movies in the ancient Greek theater built over 200 years ago with a backdrop of the Sicilian coast and Mount Etna. MAGICAL! Especially when they dimmed the lights and about 500 people were holding candles.... The glow of Etna and the flickering lights of the coast added to the magic.

We will never forget that place.... It is one of the most magnificent places on earth. Although unfortunately it is filled with tourists, it still has it's charm along with little children playing in the streets and in the piazza.

I strongly recommend the whole country.
