Have you ever been to Yucutan or Cozumel Mexico?

My friend and I are taking our first cruise and will be going to Yucutan (Progreso) and Cozumel. Have you taken a cruise to this location and how was it?

Cozumel is one of the best islands to snorkel or dive. You will have a fun time in Cozumel. Rent a jeep and tour the island. Go to the east side of the island. Bring your camera. Do some shopping in town. The further away you go from the water front, you will be able to bargain with the store keepers. Speaking some Spanish will also go a long way in getting a good price on renting a jeep.

I've been to Cozumel, Scuba Diving.  The water sports are great.  The town is a bit too touristy, sort of like Cancun in that regard.  Designed specifically to seperate dollars from Gringos.  But for general running around fun, it's ok in moderate doses.
