  1. I worked at an upscale restaurant and while I was setting up the dining room for lunch patrons, the stereo went from playing classical music to rock-n-roll.

The stereo was in the same room as myself, and I was the only one in the room.

At one hotel our flight crew stayed at in South Bend, Indiana, a few crew members had the same type of haunting.

You would wake up in the middle of the night and all the lights would be turned on.

Or you would hear the hangers in the closet being moved around.

Or the sink and shower would turn on by themselves.

At a different hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a lot of crew members would wake up and see Civil War ghosts in their rooms.

    The hotel was notoriously haunted.

  2. Hi.  When I was a kid, I watched a doll walk accross a room.

I can't remember if we were at friends or family.

I was too young to talk,so I just laid back down and put the covers over my head.

  3. I have lived in haunted houses, been in many haunted houses and buildings, and I'm going to one Wednesday night. They are all pretty much the same, you got some ghost running a round doing his/her thing.  The problem is how people deal with them,  once you realize they probably don't even know your there things work out ok.  Some people just can't along with them and get all freaked out.  The place I'm going to Wednesday they just want to have the ghost evicted.  This is going to be fun!  I have to see how this is going to work out.  I get to go in first and meet this ghost they want to give the boot.

  4. hi,

i started working security for a college in southern vt, we have a big mansion where classes are tought and administration has there offices. The property has about 400 acres and the mansion was bilt in the early 1900s, there is a room on the 3rd floor where legend has it that a housekeeper who was n love with the guy who built the mansion hung herself, there have been reports of lights being left on and desks moving around, the legend has it that the guy roams the halls and in fact i have talked to people who have seen a gentleman dressed in early 1900 cloths roaming the halls, just the other night i had an experience while i was checking the windows in one of the classrooms it felt like someone came up from behind and blew onto the back of my neck,i jused smiled and said ok i know your here, but boy did the hair on the back of my neck go up. also the guys wife drowned in a pond that is on the property and people have seen her running across the grounds more then once. hope this helps.

  5. my house is haunted.

things disapear, electronics/oven get turned on by themselves, things that disapear come later on( for ex. i lost a charm for my necklace my sister had given me, had thought to my self how i wished i had it to wear at her wedding and then a few days later it was right next to my shoes on my bedroom floor. it had been missing for years) candles will light by themselves, just eery feelings at time.

i would say its a friendly ghost, not scary but its known

  6. Your question begs the question: What is a *real* haunted house?  Is there something that can be measured?  If there is I am unaware of it.  In my experience the only thing that determines whether or not a place is haunted is the reputation of the place.  Reputation is no judge of whether or not a place is haunted.

I have visited more than a few locales deemed by true believers as haunted.  I experienced nothing that would lead me to believe any place is haunted, yet many people experience hauntings in a wide variety of locations.  This leads me to conclude that there is no such thing as a haunted house, only haunted people.

  7. I think I lived in some...or else the spirit/ghost..was following me from one to the next. I don't want to talk about what happened. It's a long story. One time my son was lifted off the bed. I had to push him back down. That was in a house where a psychic had lived before I moved in.

In April I'm going to be baby sitting in a historical house where the family says things have happened. They're having it remodeled now. She told me something that happened..and her brother who is living there while it's being remodeled told me things happened to him. I'm anxious (and a little scared) to find out and report back here to everybody. They said it's a good ghost. lol

  8. yes i have, i lived in this house. it was scary. it was a huge house but at a really cheap price!i heard soo many voices at night. It was scary because i was a girl about 6 years old. i always wanted to move from there. till i was eight we fanilly moved cuz my parents have heard voices and they were getting nightmares over and over again.

  9. I have been to one. It was SUPER SERIAL.

  10. mine

  11. You could say I live in one, but that's because I'm a medium. I've had one girl, somewhere around 12 years old, who used to take stuff and put it back somewhere else, she used to tap on the walls, used to pick up the mouse in my son's room and drop it repeatedly. I've had one woman here who used to scream in his ear. I gave these guys the boot, and currently have several spirit friends who are here on a daily basis and some who come to visit me, but these guys are sweet and quiet.

  12. Yes, I have heard my name called, felt someone walk up behind me and caught EVPs.

  13. i worked for 8 yrs at a haunted house called The Edge Of h**l, i saw a few real ghosts there too.

  14. Yes, John F King's house in Mayport, Florida.  Studied for years by many scholars and visited by thousands of locals.

There were numerous incidents with the most strange was a friend becoming "possessed and followed" home causing her to be involved in a car wreck.  The spirit left her at the point of impact after steering her car across 6 lanes of road at 2am and head on into another vehicle.

She was fine; the other driver did not have a license and was charged with the accident.

She would never go back there but we did.
