I have too many times, and it is hard for me! I love roller coasters! I have a friend who invites me yearly, but is scared of roller coasters, and doesn't try anything! He invites me though, so it is a plus either way, so I am not too mad.

But last year, I invited a friend who says he has gone on every ride at Cedar Point. Well, right outside a line, he said he lied, and was scared, so I just went with him to the water park, and got on maybe 2 big rides.

This year, I am just going with no one, because most of my friends are scared of roller coasters and I want to go on a lot.

So, have you ever been to a theme park with anyone that's scared of roller coasters?

  1. Yes, me and my friend are really scared of roller costers. Whenever we go to this one amusement park, we only go on one roller coster, because it's the only one we can handle!

  2. Yes. My best friend of 12 years refuses to ride the Dragster and is terrified of Millennium Force (my favorite coaster). Another friend of mine won't ride the Dragster, and she won't go on anything that goes in a circle. She won't even ride MaxAir.

    Most of my friends either have conflicting work schedules, kids so they never go anywhere, or they won't get on the big rides with me (I'm not scared to ride anything) so I have pretty much given up on inviting people to go with me. I have friends that work at Cedar Point, and I know they aren't scared of any rides, so I went by myself yesterday, and met up with them on their breaks and when their shifts ended.

  3. Yes, I love roller coasters too.  Just last month, I went with a friend who I am going to name Sarah for this story.  I invited herto six flags great adventure, because she is ussually really brave, a great friend, and said she loved huge roller coasters.  We went on a medium sized roller coaster to start with, because she wanted to get "warmed-up".  Then we went on a little bigger of one, and it was alright, but she loved it.  Then, we went to go on the medusa, a roller coaster that goes upside down 11 times, and she chickened out.  After one or two more big roller coasters (which she didn't go on) i had to stay with her the rest of the day on like the carousel, or the mini log flume!  It sucked... at least i got in the Kingda Ka.  Now, i reallize that none of my friends will go on any larger roller coasters with me, so i have to go with my brother.

  4. I'm afraid of heights, so I won't go on any of the tall ones at Cedar Point (Dragster, Millenium Force, Magnum, Mean Streak), but any of the other rides, I'll ride.  The only thing I wouldn't do is try and trick your friends on going on a ride they don't want to go on.  My brother and his friends did this and they scared the c**p out of the friend who was afraid to go on rollercoasters (they tricked him with riding Maverick).  To put in perspective of their friend who won't ride roller coasters, he won't ride the Iron Dragon.

  5. Yes! It can be a drag sometimes, but whatever. My church/school went to a small amusement park and we could make our groups. We had to have more than 3 people in a group, so at least enough people in my group wanted to go on rides. They're were like two people that only went on one ride. Usually, I'm terrified of roller coasters, but this time, I got over it! =)

  6. Yes, all the time.

    Whenever I go to Valley Fair with my friends, only a couple can handle going on the good roller coasters like the Wild Thing, the Renegade, and so on. It gets pretty frustrating at times. We usually go on the other rides that they don't think are as scary, and we still have a good time. :)

  7. My boyfriend is deathly afraid of anything height related....it really sucks. One time I got him to go on the Ferris Wheel and the whole time he was holding onto the middle pole.. LOL I was like "Do you really think that would help you if something happened?" Too funny. Luckily though I have a married friend whom husband wont ride any rides with her, so we double date when it come to The Fair. So that way we have someone to go on the rides with. (=

  8. Yes i have had my share of them.

  9. My boyfriend and I go to Disney world every year, I don't get on roller coasters, only tower of terror, aerosmith, mountain railroad and space mountain. Nothing else, everything else, in Universal and Islands of Adventure he goes on with his brothers and friends, I just stay and watch him.

  10. Yesssss. So many  times. Its hard to do anything, especially if most the rides are roller coasters! Interesting Question, heres a STAR!

  11. I'm not really afraid of them....I am afraid of heights. I will ride the wooden coasters if they're not very high but when it comes to the others......sorry, count me out. At Cedar Point I won't get on the Blue Streak wooden or not it's way too high for me. An absolute no is the Millennium Force. I was there once when a gust of wind off the lake stopped it. I luv to watch people ride them. =o`}

  12. Yes, my dad took me to Universal Studios and he gets motion sickness. We still had a good time, but I rode on all the coasters by myself. The next year we went back and he tried the Incredible Hulk roller coaster, loved it, and diddnt feel sick at all.
