Have you ever been to texas roadhouse??

Question

i live in arizona and it's always packed.

tonight i'm going there with my boyfriend cuz we heard that they have really good food. if you've ever been there, can you please tell me what you ordered and what you thought about the food....? i always take long to decide what to order so i want to have an idea before i get there.

any advice about the restaurant would be great! thanks

My family just took me there for dinner a few nights ago - it was my (and my moms') first time.

The wait was 90 minutes, but we did have a party of 15. The rolls were pretty good, they came with cinnamon butter, but you can ask for regular butter too.

I had the Beef Tips with mashed potatoes and mixed seasoned veggies. It was very good.

Mom had a steak, salad and baked potato. The potato had a little too much salt on the outside, but other than that she liked it too.

Tell them it's your (or whoever you go with) birthday. They have a cute little tradition for b-days.

Overall we liked it and would go back if they had one in San Diego - as far as I know, they don't.

It's been a long time since I've been there.  The only thing I remember was the Bloomin' Onion appetizer and all the peanut shells on the floor.  It was hard for me to eat there since I'm not a "slab of meat" person.  I only went because my husband at the time was a "slab of meat" person.  So to me the food was unmemorable.



But check out that menu online, we always do before we try a new place to see if it can accommodate both my new husband's and my tastes.

I love Texas Road House! They have the BEST loaded baked potatoes and their bread with cinnamon butter is so good!

I love going there! Its so fun throwing peanuts on the floor! I Dont know what food to reccomend but there rolls r exellent!!!!

Is this near Flagstaff, I think I've been there while traveliing and I did not like it. The chicken tasted funny.

DEFINITELY go with the Fried steak...it's not country fried but an ACTUAL deep fried steak and it is delicious. Also, get a baked sweet potato.

OH! and make sure to tell them it is your first time there and they will bring you complimentary ribs and and take-home sack of peanuts.

Well, for a starter they have the best sweet rolls anywhere! I love the grilled shrimp skewers over rice. Outstanding!

last time I went there I had a 6 ounce sirloin steak cooked medium, and for the two sides that come with it, I had a house salad with ranch dressing and a loaded sweet potato.

it has a really great atmosphere you get to munch on peanuts and throw the shells on the floor its not grose they clean and stuff and then their rolls and sweet honey butter is amaziing when we go we usually get ratllesnake bites they are these jalapeno and cheese thingies that are pretty good for appetizers and the caesar salads is good also and for main dish i like the chicken critters a lot and the green beans for side are really good well i hope you find somthing that suits ur taste have fun :)

Yes plenty of times, I get the southwest chicken.... It's awesome....it a grilled chicken breast with cheese and black beans on it....its so juicy!  Im getting hungry now.... LOL

We were at the Texas Roadhouse last night for dinner.  It was great.  Their caesar salad is excellent and so is the sweet potatoes... We had the appetizer combo which was really good and filling.  Next time I think I'll order the appetizer combo, a sweet potato and caesar salad.  We had fried cat fish too but something was wrong with mine it tasted really funny so they gave me the chicken critters (I think that is what they are called) and they were great!! I love their ranch dressing too...
