  1. No never, they are entirely helpful, especially when the self-scan goes on the fritz.

  2. Comon.

Everyone has been treated badly by tesco staff.

I think the fact they are working in tesco's kinda puts 'em in a bad mood.

Just get your food, checkout and go, before they sense you are a vulnerable victim for them to feast on.

I walked into Tesco once, and basically walked back out again. I swear there were about 5 middle aged, slouched woman staring at me with tired, evil eyes.

    Think.... Asda?

  3. no but if it happend to you , complain to the manager. What else can you doo...

ACtually it depends what they did, if they went to the extreme and they physically attacked you then you can have them arrested. If its verbal abuse then, chat to the manager and im sure he ll do something about it.

  4. At our local Tesco the cashiers generally are friendly, but the security staff are miserable and always look at you as if you are going to steal something.

The ones that walk around with headphones also drive me potty when they start directing you to another check out when you don't want to go there!

I would not shop at Tesco unless it was convenient (i.e I have to drive past to get home).  I prefer Sainsbury, or Morrison's.

  5. Well the logic would be to report them to customer services

  6. NO, THEY ARE REALLY GOOD IN HUDDERSFIELD.

    CUSTOMER SERVICES ARE EXCELLENT.

  7. Don't use Tesco. Have always been treated very well by Waitrose staff.

  8. Yes, very badly.

I'm not going to give you details here - sorry if that's what you wanted! - but wrote to head office yesterday to tell them what they can do with their shops.  All of them.

So I'm waiting to see what kind of  'customer service' you get from head office now.  Sincerely hope it's better than our local branch can do (where the manager was so pathetic that I don't even know why bothered showing his face).

Take your complaint to the top yourself, it makes you feel better if nothing else.

  9. Not that I can remember, especially today.

I bought a Prawn Pasta Salad Bowl which was advertised at 1.50 but the self service till charged me 2.00.

Not a lot I know but I thought I'd tell the customer service lady anyway incase someone else has a go for overcharging.

She gave me the difference doubled so got a pound back.

  10. nope there nice over here in pa

  11. No I haven't.
