"Shop clerk"? Are we in the 19th century or something? If you mean "salesperson," then sure. And I don't blame them. Having been one myself, it is a tough, low paying and thankless job.

Yeah, I just left the shop and told people not to go there because they suck.

Also I'm a part-time sales associate (full-time college student) and I was just being rude to some customers a few hours ago!  I work in a boutique-like store which closes at 9 and I had just finished making everything very nice and neat when these 2 d-bags came in and went f'ing chaotic.  When I have to be in class at 8 am, I really don't like my time being wasted by idiots without common courtesy.
