Have you ever been victimized by sportsbook.com?

Question

I recently open an account from sportsbook.com, I was influenced by my friend who used to gamble online. Luckily, for 2 weeks betting in MLB and NBA, I won $1600 out of $100 deposit.

This is the saddest part, when I requested to withdraw my winnings, sportsbook.com kept delaying my withdrawal, If you will check the withdrawal FAQ from their website... they said that processing of withdrawal takes 2 to 3 weeks. I've waited for a month, and when I call the customer service.. each of them provided a different reason, they said that they don't have a bank processor here in the United States, and they are still working on it. Now, I'm in dilemma.

I'm telling you guys, they are not legit, if you want to gamble online, don't and don't go with this fraud gambling site. They keep fooling people.

Sportsbook.com is TROUBLE and they are likely going out of business. I have heard of other people wating 4-8 weeks for checks to arrive only for it to bounce...

Not personally, but I run a website and many of my visitors have been!  I have never and will never recommend Sportsbook.com and no reputable site will!  There have been many many instances where they have refused to pay winners, stolen funds from their clients, and as you are experiencing extremely long delays of up to 12 months!  There are too many sites that serve their clients well, don't use sportsbook.com or any associated site.

EDIT:

I know for a fact that there are times that they have NO payout methods for US clients!  That is unacceptable.  They'll take your money, but no payout?  There are too many reputable sites out there to waste your time with these cheats!

I'm pretty familiar with this site and have done quite of business with them in the past although it's been a while.  The problem these days is that people are requesting checks and this is the worst option there is.  At best you're going to have to wait a couple weeks from anywhere and several more weeks at some places.  Sportsbook.com isn't famous for their promptness with checks that's for sure.  There are other options though including spending a few bucks and getting a wire.  These guys aren't crooks though and just need to keep working on providing better customer service which isn't their strong suit to be sure.  The places I deal with now have better service but I never had a problem with Sportsbook either although I would never ever go with a check.

these guy arent crooks they used to be partnered up with paradise poker which in my opinion was the best site on the net. THen they got shut down.  They will pay and it may take a while depending on cashout procedure. I know tho one time it took me 8 weeks to get a check but i did get it.

Well, this site has been well known for things like that. Its blacklisted in many sites. I think they will actually return you the money but after a lot of time.
