Have you ever bought a gift card at a restaurant & when you went to use it, the card wasn't charged correctly?

This happened at Target last year when I bought a gift card. I live in Indiana and sent the gift card to Michigan.  When the people went to use the gift card, they were told it didn't have any money on it.  When I told the manager at Target, he said he would have to pull the store security tape that showed me buying the gift card. I told him that was crazy . He finally relented and gave me another gift card because I had my receipt.

I've heard a few times that places accidently put like $100 on what was supposed to be $10.
