  1. I have bought quite a lot of stuff, most was OK but lately there is a lot of junk about, very cheap rubbish that looks good in the photo but is c**p when it gets here, the old fashioned "made in HONGKONG tag" so look out, Oh and always look at the postal costs as these are some times very high and are not reimbursed when something is wrong.

  2. yer I've bought some awesome stuff off ebay like shoes and tops and stuff and ive been happy with all of it

  3. We bought a set of tyres for our Vectra and have been really pleased.  good buy, good price.

The bidding is stressful when you get to the end and others are competing for something you really want.  I would tell everyone to be careful and check rating of anyone selling before you pay any money.

We had an odd experience with someone trying to sell an almost new touring caravan for less than 1/2 the price.  We e-mailed and asked if the price was correct.  They replied yes, you can have it at that price,  free delivery but pay first through Ebay.  Give me your Ebay ID and they will contact you with details of how and where to send the money.  We offered to collect or pay COD, but they wouldn't play, seller said he was out of the country!!!

I reported it to Ebay and the caravan disappeared off Ebay.

Very disappointing to find scammers get on there.

    Buyer beware!!!!

  4. I bought a PSP off of there before they were available in UK. I was well pleased. I also bought a home moving pack which consisted of 30 cardboard boxes, bubblewrap, tape and a marker all for £30.

  5. I've bought loads of stuff from ebay, most of which I've been happy with. I've bought loads of clothes for my kids from there, all new and tagged but still cheaper than retail prices.

  6. not yet.

  7. I bought a mobile phone for my partner at £80 from a local high street shop. Then I decided to get the same model for myself. Bought two on Ebay at £2 plus postage and £3.50 plus postage. Cheap one claimed to have failed speaker but otherwise in good condition. When I received it the sim card was still inside with £7.50 credit on it. The failed speaker turned out to be simply that the silent function had been initiated. The second phone with no simcard and pink covers was fully functioning. I swopped the pink covers with the first to get a normal fully functioning phone. But now having sorted the silent setting I have two phones for a bargain price. Delghted by Ebay!!

  8. I don't use ebay that much but when i do most of it I'm pleased with!!

one item i sent back cos it didn't work but other than that ive been very pleased!

the one thing i really did like was a fetal heart monitor! after suffering 3 previous miscarriages it was seriously reassuring having this it totally put my mind at rest hearing the babies heartbeat at home! not everyone would agree with me but i loved it!

so totally worth it for me!

  9. I've been very happy with all my purchases excepted for one, but I think I out of 40 odd is quite good.

  10. No, I have been disappointed lots of times over things I bought in a shop do. h**l even disappointed with the deal I got for this ISP provider I signed up with.

They changed the rules of service last November when i was a member for a year.

What would you think of one that says.

No downloading or watching of youtube video's

    Stop downloading so much

Do not use Yahoo im with web cam

Do not use skype or any of the computer to phone services you can find?

Clearwire or rubbish. my contract is up first of November and I sure am not staying with them after that.

Just what is the reason then for 40 euro a month one asks. to read emails? has anyone ever got emails that would amount to using up 10 GB? I looked at mine and the way i see it they want me and everyone else to pay them 40 euro and use 2 GB in the month at most. Not gong to do that me gong to keep downloading songs from myspace I like. They can cancell the contract if they like I don't care really

  11. I bought a saxophone which is brilliant and lots of games for the ds and playstation. I haven't ever bought anything that has been disappointing. I sell stuff too and everyone seems happy with what I've sold them.

  12. i once got some amazing leather riding boots, they fitted perfectly. the owner claimed they'd been worn once, but i doubt this once was for very long. what makes it even better is that they were a bargain at 20 quid.

  13. I bought some black sparkly trousers that fitted me perfectly. And an awesome digital camera that was 'reconditioned' - it said buyer had to take the risk, some were scratched but mine came in mint condition and works great.  However, I also bought a DVD that was unplayable and had to fight to get a refund - got one via Paypal in the end. That was a pain.
