Have you ever chatted online and looked at profile pictures?

Question

I used Yahoo chat over the weekend. Each chatter has a profile, many of them have pictures.

You can certainly tell they're 'indoor' type people. :) No offense to any chatters here.

Have you done this? What did you gain from the experience?

Lots of people don't fill in their profile, so I gave up looking :-)

I don't have yahoo chat i Have Bebo and MSN

But i find it really interesting because you can find out alot about a person you didn't even know existed, and what their fav movie or song is who they love and what they care about and it helps you to stay in touch with friends.

I think Its a great experience but i have also had bad experiences on these sites aswell but altogether a gr8 experience!

MHMH. deff, if you talk to someone online and then look at their pics just be prepared, and  you might get something unsuspected, but its all in what you do so.. lol

but yes i have had that happen, they told me to look at their pics to see what i thought of them.. i never felt so uncomfortable in my life... lol

I was on one called lycos or something - the other day.

got chatting to a girl - wasnt at all unattractive or anything - anyway she said she had met ALL her previous boyfriends on line...I was quite suprised.

but its alot easier for girls - men get crowded out on those sites - because there are like 100 men to 1 woman on alot of them I think..

Im not that into the whole online dating, chatting thing - but thought Id have a look...
