astrology ?

I have to admit that I have been impressed by Vic D's answers (vedic astrology).

Sadly I do not have the time myself but otherwise would definitely consider it.

  1. No, not really, although I do believe there are many different ways to get to the truth.............. - there is just so much that I want to know on the subject.

  2. Yes - I find it fascinating! I love to do research! .... lol.... so long as it's something of interest to me! ;)

  3. Sometimes...but I've already committed myself to Western Natal astrology. I'll admit, it would benefit my studies to brush over other astrology, but there are so many levels and types. Vedic, Western, Chinese, Mundane, Natal and so on...

And I just like all the different things about Natal astrology anyways.

  4. i'd like to get into vedic astrology, but it seems really complicated, and i don't know of any good resources for beginners.  but definitively, it's something i want to look into.

  5. Learing Vedic Astrology through a systematic analytical technique is not at all difficult. The only thing is interest for learning.  The online free access to learning material is available at www.YourNetAstrologer.com

You can also get a FREE  online horoscope with general reading

You can get FREE weekly horoscope for your ascending sign

  6. I like Numerology.  But other then that and this astrology I don't care much for.

  7. i agree he's so cool he indeed inspired me to consider vedic astrology

  8. I study all of them that I know of, but I wind up going back to my main interest which is aspects and degrees. I agree that Vic is very impressive.

I like the study of each degree and the significance of what it is supposed to mean. I've only found a few sources on this subject, and I've been doing my own studies over the years, keeping a journal. I don't get too involved with which type of astrology might be best since the name on a particular degree of each sign doesn't really matter to me.

I understand what you say about time. I am an index card user because they help keep me and my use of time organized. I've found that it helps to write down some notes on an index card and keep it handy to study (in a purse or pocket) if I'm waiting in a line or some similar situation. If you do this each day, then over a year, this can build up into quite a bit of knowledge learned.

  9. Hi Isa, there are many many types of divination in this world, and yes, i would try anything :)

vedic is not much different from western - its based on moon signs but interpretation is the same.
