...started off as really funny, kind, happy and a great listener but very quickly changed into a boring, quiet, miserable and selfish person who made you feel empty when they left your presence??

Not really, people iv dated tend to be quiet until you get to really know them! But everyone has a different side to them, maybe you should concentrate on the good times instead of the morbid ones!

Hi,

Yes one of my ex's was similar to this.

When we met he swept me off my feet and was funny, kind, made me feel like his only one.

After about 18 months he quickly changed and became abusive and put me down all the time.

It finally ended when he locked me in house for 3 days and physically and sexually abused me that I had to be hopitalised for 6 months.

So be wary of the ones who change their behaviour quickly.
