Have you ever died in your dream?

Question

I remember once I had a dream where something (that was sort of the like the vampire from I Am Legend) had a hold of my neck and was about to break it, but I woke up before he did. There was obviously more to the dream before that, but I just put in the last part to bring relevance to my question.

NO I have never dreamed of dying .  but I did dream about having hold of someones neck last night.. fortunately I woke up in time.

I once had a dream I was stopped at a stop sign and a person walks up in front of my car and shots me through the head.  The blood was flowing down my face and the person walks over to open the door and I fell out onto the floor and then I woke up.  Does that count as dieing?

More than i can count with fingers - and i'm pretty certain i died, what with having my heart  and body sliced up good and proper.

edit: It's at times like this i wonder whether or not it would have been more healthy to have been a psychopath...

IT'S CRAZY I NEVER DIE IN MY DREAMS I AM JUST CONSTANTLY CHASED OR TORTURED BUT NO MATTER HOW CLOSE THE KILLER GETS I NEVER GET HURT. IT NEVER ENDS UNTIL I WAKE UP SO I AM TORTURED BY THESE THOUGHTS UNTIL I WAKE UP.

i have died in my dream 3 times i think and i am still healthy and alive.

i died in my dream many times, usually when i had sleep paralysis, a demon usually killed me while i was paralysed, thinking i was awake, and there was nothing i could do

another dream, i was having sleep paralysis again, i couldnt move, but i tried my best to move and i crawled upstairs to get help from my dad, and he just dropped a cover on my face and i sufficated to death, and i woke up cause my pillow was squished in my face and i couldnt breathe

many dreams i died but i have no idea why, but mostly it had to do with a demon ripping my ribs open and killing me :(

Well It all depends on what you do in a day and what your mind thinks when you sleep. Its Natural to Have nightmares, i died once falling off a bridge and didnt wake up. it was weird

I never have. If you do, that means that there's something bothering you and you should seek attention from either a doctor or a psychologist.

Tip::

For some reason, when I have a nightmare, sometimes I can tell if it's a dream or not. I'm not sure how and why, but sometimes I feel like it's just regular life, but in a nightmare form. Like I'm really me but something bad is happening to me in real life, that sort of thing. Know what I mean? If I can, here's what I do to wake up. I close my eyes (in the dream of course) and count to five, slowly, thinking of my bedroom. At the end of five I open my eyes and I wake up.

I heard that people don't dream about dying, you always wake up before you do, but if you dream about dying, you die in reality. I am not sure that this is true though.

I have dreamed I keep falling forever and ever and then I finally wake up. Or I dream that I am dying in a coma and my family is huddled around me in the hospital. Don't think I ever completely died.
