If so...what was the quote and where did you read it?

I found a few this morning -

"I never stooped so low as to hate any man." Booker T Washington, born a slave.

"An army of principles can penetrate where an army of soldiers cannot. It will succeed when diplomacy may fail." Thomas Paine

"Each day, like a bird, perfect thyself first, to have courage and smile my friend. Think and act ten years ahead. And the man without fault? He's dead. Do one thing at a time. Work hard. Get done. Then teach friend and enemy."

unknown

and many more on the label of my body wash! It's Dr. Bronner's Certified Fair Trade Peppermint Pure Castille Soap, & it's awesome. I don't think I've ever been so inspired while taking a shower.......

Please share!

Thx!

  1. Yes. "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then give up. No sense in being an idiot about it." ~Bumber Sticker [i think....] I found it inspiring. lol

  2. Yes, I have.

Senior year of high school I was very angry with someone close to me and I had been for some time. I remember I was sitting in class and happen to notice a notebook on the floor underneath the desk of the person in front of me. On the back of the notebook was written..."To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you"...I took it as a sign :-)

    Good question!

  3. i found one on myspace it said: "not being with you is like a broken pencil, theres no pont to it".
