  1. Yes but, only when I ride bareback-the stirrups hurt my feet.

  2. Yes, but only when riding bareback.  The stirrups are hard on your barefeet!!

  3. yea.. its pretty fun.

  4. no

  5. I have and it is very uncomfortable if you are using a saddle the strupps can hurt but if bare back it is very good you feel like a flying with the horse

  6. I have, but I like wearing boots better, you get better grip in your stirrups wearing boots.

  7. I wasn't a regular barefooter yet when I rode horses, but if it was cold in winter sometimes I'd ride sock-footed and without stirrups. The rubber riding boots would be very cold, using those stiff boots and holding my legs/feet still in the stirrups, my toes would get totally numb. When I'd take them off and let my feet go free they'd warm up... but as I said I was still wearing socks, not all barefoot.

  8. I have and still do. My folks own a farm with horses taking up almost 60% of it. As a child and even now I have loved to ride in bare feet with both bare back and a saddle. It is very enjoyable and the wind touching my feet at a canter or gallop feels great.
