Have you ever done something sooo stupid that just messed up everything?

I backed into a car and now i am not legible for insurance when im 16... i feel terrible, has anyone done anything just as bad?

  1. Well, that's not bad or stupid.  That could happen to anybody.  I've done lots of things way stupider than that.


  2. Yeah I was cooking some Chicken and Dumplings and I opened the Rosemary to shake some in and I forgot it didn't have a shaker top and the whole container went in, messed up everything............ hate when that happens

  3. When I first got my license I was so excited that on my way home I got a warning ticket for speeding, okay not a real ticket but I showed it to my dad and he grounded me for 1 month.

  7. Yes, and car wrecks are apt to make anybody feel stupid.

    I broadsided a van once.  I was in the hospital and after several hours a fireman came by the room I was in.  He saw me and asked if I felt better.  I didn't recognize him, but he said he was one of the rescuers.  I said, "I feel so stupid."  He said, "Everyone feels like that when they make that kind of mistake."  

    So you are in good company.  

    I don't quite understand how you are ineligible for insurance when you are 16.  If you are not 16 then you shouldn't have been driving.  If you were in drivers ed then you were being instructed and it shouldn't be held against you.    

    Anyway, yes, if you messed up for driving when you weren't supposed to, chalk it up to experience and wait until you are 18 to get your license.  I did the same because I didn't finish drivers ed, so I had to wait.
