Have you ever eaten anchovies?

Hm I had some for the first time today at an Italian restaurant, it was in the dressing in my salad. It was okay but not my preference.

I order them on cesar salads and pizzas all the time. They add a great salty flavor. I love them.

No and im not a big fan of smelly tiny fish. So i will not have them.

Fresh grilled?, salted? white or brown? tinned/paste or essence, I am a former chef and even Thai/Vietnamese fish sauce is made with a type of anchovy.

Fresh anchovys, cleaned and brushed with garlic olive oil, a bit of sea salt and lightly grilled on a BBQ, a spritz of lemon, that is the best way, or in Spanish tapas fresh white anchovies cured in garlic oil on crusty bread, most people are more familiar with the tinned ones on pizza and in salad dressing, but the others will change any ones mind if they try them once believe me, in Italy, Spain and Portugal they are staple food items.

Yes I have but only canned ones. I like the flavor in small doses.I've had them in a Cesar salad and on pizza.
