Have you ever eaten at Red Robin? Is it any good?

Everyday they torment me with commercials and promises of bottomless steak fries, but there are none to be had in this area. The closest one is about 21 miles away.

  1. It's good, not great. Enjoy the steak fries near you, rather than worrying about getting bottomless. They're good fries, but not worth a special trip to try them or anything else on the menu.

  2. Well to me, a 21 mile drive isn't that far to try a new restaurant. The street I live off off is a 22 mile street in the same city!

I used to work at Red Robin. They do have great food and their burgers are their specialty. I don't have any near where I live now. (Tampa) The closest one is 2 hrs away (Ft. Myers) and I've been thinking of taking a day trip down there just to get their food again!

I'm not much of a fry person, but I LOVE their fries and especially the seasoning that they have.

  3. Red Robin does have great fries... and lots of them. The burgers are good burgers. French Onion soup is pretty great too...

...but worth a 21 mi. drive? Depends!

If there is jacksh*t between you and that Red Robin, go for it! They have a bar and its not a boring spot to grub. Just take a date or some friends (do not go alone... that's creepy)

If you live somewhere that has good burgers and good fries... plus there is plenty to do in your area already... Don't stress about getting there. Stop by when you are driving past that area for something else.

    Now I am hungry...

  4. It's a really good burger joint, but if you have a culvers or an in-n-out or a sonic or an a&w nearby, those places are just as good.

  5. zomg yup the food is foodgasmic and so are the drinks. i always get a bocca burger [meatless burger] because im a vegetarian and bottomless steak fries. i sometimes get mozarella sticks too. they have yummy lemonades & limeaides which i get with real fruit in them like blueberries & strawberries. the service is great. the people are friendly. it has a nice atmosphere as well. it's one of my favorite places to eat. xD

  6. ahh yeah its okay not something i would drive that far just to go eat there.

  7. yeah...nothing special though..

  8. its ok... i wasnt impressed much

  9. I have.

It's something like Applebees or Chilis. If you like those places, you'll like Red Robin.

  10. I like it.  Yes you get bottomless steak fries which I like because I don't like thin cut fries.  If you're looking for a decent burger place thats fairly cheap then this is a good place to go.

  11. uhh yeah its okay not tha best... go to bbq's or chili's or olive garden or APPLEBEES!!!!!!! THOSE are tha best!

  12. yes, it was horrible

  13. Yeah I've been there one time. I had a cheeseburger with the bottomless fries and I also ordered the onion ring appetizer. The onion rings were outstanding! The burger and fries were okay, I've had better. Also, it's hard to keep ordering the bottomless fries because you get really full on the burger and any appetizers you order.

Overall, I'd give my experience at Red Robin a 6/10.

  14. i've been there once & i liked it. my burger was good (the bonzai burger, which is a cheeseburger with teriyaki sauce & pineapple), & i was a fan of the bottomless fries. my friend really likes the burger that has bacon & an egg on it, and the onion rings. i also had an oreo milkshake that was good; i didn't get this, but i hear the "freckled lemonade" is good too. my brothers absolutely love red robin, but i didn't think it was extremely special; plus, like most restaurants, it's a little overpriced, so i probably won't go again soon seeing as i don't have much money to spare. just my opinion, though :-)
