Have you ever eaten at a sit down restaurant by yourself?

i have at my favorite indian restaurant. I just bring a book with me so I don't look totally bored.

Yes, I sure have.  It's usually during Lunch Hour when I was on the "late lunch" list.   At first it was awkward, but then I saw a lot of other people eating alone too, so it doesn't bother me anymore.

I used to travel alot for my job so I used to eat alone at sit down restaurants all the time. I would usually sit at the bar and watch tv and talk to people at the bar while I was eating. I had some great conversations that way!

Yes, and I love it!!! I have 3 kids and a husband so any alone time is great!!! I also love to go to the movies by myself!

I have and I also have brought either a book or magazine.  I thought it was fine.

Although, I will say if I see someone in a restaurant without reading material, I feel sad.

I haven't and never would that would feel so uncomfortable but I have kids so I don't ever have to anymore!  :-)

I have.  When I was younger, I would never have done it.  But now, it is a treat that I give myself.
