  1. I have at an all u can eat chinese. There is that much choice so you can go up unlimited times for different things There is a charge if you waste the food though, so that is a good idea for those whose eyes are bigger than their bellies!!

  2. no but it sounds really good!

  3. Yep went to a very nice Indian one on Sunday. Though I have been to a couple of dodgy ones. I have also had an all you can eat chinese.

  4. Yes in America, what a waste of food, people [americans mostly] were piling there plates leaving half and going for more

  5. Yes when I was on holiday in St Petersburg, FLA the people in the next condo to ours recommended the Ponderosa (at the time I was eleven and they thought it was the ideal family restaurant) it was one of the worst places I have ever been in and that was nearly eighteen years ago and I can still remember it.  We went back to going to the Don Cesar Hotel to eat after that, much more my family's preference.

  6. Yes, but I generally avoid them because at such places as a rule, the food is terrible and most people eat too much of it!

Much better to order a meal and eat it. If you're still hungry, order dessert!

  7. Yeah, loads of times!! We have a local Chinese place which is great...good food, with a good atmosphere, and really good value for money. We also have another all-you-can-eat, which has a mixture of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian!!  Really spolied for choice when we go to this place!!

  8. yes a chinese. i took my son and his friend for my sons b/day but humiliated them as loaded lots of different things onto my plate till full to bursting as thought everyone did that to save looking like a greedy pig going backwards and forwards  lol

  9. Chinese and Italian seem to excel in providing these self-service buffet style resaurants.

Gordon Ramsay would not be impressed.

  10. Yes - it was horrible and I didn't go back for seconds!

  11. Yes    Chinese in Basingstoke  very good value for money

Go too early and food not hot

Go too late and lucky if you can get a table

Nice to eat all you can, or just stick to your favorite dish all night.

Open afternoons too and thats even cheaper!

  12. Yes.....and I don't do it very often

Chinese buffets are usually pretty good...but I try to stay away from the "Golden Corral's & Old Country Buffets"

Olive Garden has a never ending pasta bowl dish that is GREAT!

Oh and CiCi's pizza is usually pretty good too.

  13. Yer "Aroma",it's eat as much as you want & believe me, I DO,it's Chinese,,yum yum

  14. I was in the mongolian BBQ rst ,its eat all u want cooked  using ur own  recipe its healthy and deeeeelesssiiiioooouuuussss

  15. ye woke mania woo i lv it

  16. yes lol me and 2 of my best friends used to go every half term lol :) happy days.

  17. Yes, I have. It was a chinese buffet. My biggest mistake was eating too much rice because I got too full too quick! My friend went to the same place and ate so much he was told to leave!

  18. Yes I have been to dozens. And no I am not obese!!! LOL I guess the places  I have been they are popular. The call them buffet restaurants. They have way more than Chinese. I have been to steak buffets, Italian food buffets, pizza buffets, breakfast buffets, seafood buffets, Mongolian BBQ buffets, etc.....

    Names of The Restaurants:

    Golden Coral Buffet

    Sirloin Stockade Buffet

    Hu Hot

    Valentino's

    Hometown Buffet

    Coyote Canyon Buffet

    Family Buffet

    Chinese Palace Buffet

    etc....

I like going to Buffets because it is so much easier to feed my kids. If they don't like something they can try something else and you won't waste money and they will be full. When I want to go to a nice sit down restaurant with hubby I rather get a babysitter.

  19. Yes, and you eat more than you want. You mix lots of different flavours and textures on the same plate and gobble it all down quickly to go back for more so you can get your moneys worth. Then you spend the rest of the day feeling bloated and sick. Did it just the other day, and I'll never fall for it again.

  20. Old Country Buffet and Shakey's Restaurant were my last exposure to an all-you-can eat restaurant. Otherwise, I have not had any other "great" places to go to, on that level. What would you suggest?

  21. Yes, in America they are all over the place. They are really cheap, but then usually the standard of food isn't that great. You always end up putting far too much on your plate and then leaving it. It is a novelty but that soon wears off.

  22. These places are fine when you are hungry, don't want to spend much and don't want to linger for too long.  You get what you pay for so the quality will not be high.

My favourite is all-you-can-eat running sushi.  I live in Vienna, Austria, and they have several of these.  They cost more than the bog-standard Chinese or Italian buffets but they are yummy!

  30. Yes, The Whale Harbor seafood dinner buffet in Isla Morada was AMAZING! Chinese buffets suck.
