  1. Yes, Tony's here in Saint Louis the only 5 diamond Italian restaurant in the US, and yes it was excellent but I am one that does not enjoy an overly formal service so the stoic yet super attentive wait staff was sort of a turn off.

  2. i live in a really small town, we dont really have an exclusive place, but we do like to eat out

  3. yes it was so good there plates were like almost between 30.00 and 50.00

  4. Considering that the town I live in is rather small, the most exclusive place is a nice steak house. The prices are reasonable and the food is awesome! People go casual, or dress up, doesn't matter. The Waiters/Waitresses dress up in black/white attire. Very attentive and deserve the tips they receive. Best Prime Rib around! In my neck of the woods, the midwest, some make fun of the Steak Eaters- Beef Eaters, etc., but we are just livin off the land.

Happy Thanksgiving! May you have a nice meal with family and friends! God Bless!

  5. Yes

  6. When I was a young bachelor, with more expendable income than bills, I did. I went there on a date. I think I had raviolis....it was a top notch Italian place. It's still there....lol. Still expensive.

  7. Yes, the cheesecake factory and the revolving tower in canada on my honeymoon.

  8. Yes. I grew up in a SMALL town and the most expenisve restaurant was Wina's Good N Plenty. No Sh*t. And it was like $4 for a chicken fried steak. :-)

I've been to some pretty expensive places in the city I live in now...but probably not the priciest.

  9. well, i'm not too keen on the expensive restuarants in my town, but i'm really wanting to go to Napa Valley, CA. and go to the French Laundry. It's some world-renouned restuarant (it happens to be the place where the Disney people modeled the kitchen in Ratatouille). the last time i checked, i think it was $125 per person for a lunch tasting menu.

  10. yes ... there is nothing like ur own home and home cooking and its excelent value for money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Yes. Two birthdays ago, Mr. Maryn said I could just name the restaurant, and I did. I had no idea it was going to be so expensive. ($260 for four people, including a bar tab.) We joke that was my birthday-dinner-at-a-restaurant for the entire decade.

The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, and ambiance lovely, but still, it wasn't worth that kind of money. Although we did learn about garlic roasted vegetables, which I now do at home.

  12. The most elegant restaurant here went out of business six years ago.  So, yes, I tried their food and loved it, but many patrons thought it was way too pricey!
