Have you ever eaten wild hog?

i tried it in a spain last week it was amazing.

tasted like steak cooked slowly in wine. beautiful.

  2. wild dog?  yeah its kinda gamy

  3. trapped it, killed it, prepped it in several different ways in the wild so it will keep longer:

    1.  roast (took home with me);

    2. sun-dried and salted (took home with me);

    3. cooked in coconut milk (had this first).

  5. Yes , and I didn't care for it . They cooked it in a pit at a biker bash . This was over 20 years ago . The Outlaws had a big party at Lake Okeechobee in Fla ,.The hog was greasy and fatty . I also have a hog . (wannabes term for bike )

  8. There is a restaurant in Texas that serves wild game.  I had the wild boar and it was fantastic.  I would rather the wild boar than feed lot beef anyday of the week.

  10. Wild hog is good. It has a gamey taste but I still love to eat it.

  11. Yes, not only have I eaten wild hog, I hunt them. Simply better than any commercially rasied pork except maybe Korubuta pork from japan.
