Have you ever experienced a hurricane?

i'm asking because i'm in the middle of fay and it's really uneventful. i've been through a lot worse tho... i'm just really bored as you can tell

i've lived in florida, hawaii, and australia, washington, california, north dakota, - i've experienced hurricanes, earth quakes, tornados, tsunamis, cyclones...

but fay is a tropical storm - that's why its just raining.

Fay passed me like 3 days ago. Yea its boring, i've been in so many hurricanes i lost count. Um play hide and seek. Oh and go buy glowstick if the pwer goes out, that'l kill time.

haha ur bored too..well i was in Ivan back in '05. that cr@p was a real mess. Gasoline stations were demolished. Stepping outside felt like entering a jungle slash twilight zone.

i live in florida so fay passed us but didnt do much damage

wilma 2 or 3 years ago was horrible sidewalks acually lifted off the streets and tress were everywhere

I live in New Orleans iv been threw like many many many  First one being Andrew when i was like 1 year old i also Remember George when i was about 7 and then a few years back like 6 years ago i remember having like 5 in 1 month The only names out of those 5 i remember where Ivan and Isadore also 4 years ago Hurricane Cindy and then of course 3 years ago with Katrina and Rita..Most of the time there boring just allot of bad weather Fay isn't even a hurricane its week therefore u didn't see anything only storms like with 3+ Is when things start flying When the action starts happening

i have when i was little i dont remember what the name of it was called i just remember i was on vacation at a hotel and they avacuated the whole hotel and my family of corse decided to stay it was so scaryy. windows were breaking and everything. across the street was a toy store and people were robbing it. after it was over my dad and me went for a walk. sides of buildigs were gone and you could see inside the hotel rooms. side walks were pulled apart and everything.

i wish i was a little older to remember it better tho.

I experienced two back many years ago.  I was a transplanted yankee living in a military community in south Texas.  Several similar couples banded together at one couple's apartment.  We stocked ourselves with beer andsnacks; at the grocery store across the street, people were  buying milk, ice, water.  We watched tv until all the stations (from approx 40 miles away) went off the air. (The hurricane hit there most strongly) Talked, laughed, played games, played cards.Before it was over, we lost all the radio stations as well.  Truthfully, I can't even remember anything about the second one the following year.  Probably did the same thing.  No real damage where I was as the eye was some distance off.

Fay isn't even a full blown hurricane, is it? Just a big windbag full of rain.

i live in south florida and i've experienced a lot of hurricanes in my 19 years. none were completely devastating, but they were pretty bad.
