  1. YES !!!

    Time and Time again !

EDIT : There it is again !

It is well with my soul !!!!!  : )

  2. I do now.

  3. Yup.  As a Christian and as an Atheist.

    No worries.  Be happy.

  4. Almost every night.

  5. yes Im born again for the last 32 yrs......

  6. During an OBE I had when I was a child

  7. Yes after a particularly big dump.

  8. Did you mean understanding´?

    Yes, now and then

  9. yes I don't just had experience I'm already a master of that.

  10. YES... it was beautiful

  11. Not lately...

    And geezus!

I could use some of THAT right now...

  12. Usually.

  13. yes I have, at times when my faith was particularly strong

  14. Only when God gives it to me.

  15. I thought I did, but it seemed to be hypomania from taking too high a dosage of Prozac. This is the truth; I'm not saying it to be a smart-***. I'd like to feel all this peace and love that religious people say they feel, but it's just  not there. I've had happy moments in life (non-drug-related), but not the "peace that passes all  understanding."

  16. yes..even through the sadness and disappointment.. without any way of getting out of it, no control over my situation, and no hope for my future,,but now the peace I am getting is from letting all that go.

  17. Definitely.  Several times.

  18. Yeah - reminds me of this:-

CLV 1Jn 3:19-21 - And in this shall we be knowing that we are out of the truth and shall be persuading our hearts in front of Him, seeing that, if our heart should be censuring us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all. Beloved, if our heart should not be censuring us, we have boldness toward God,

  19. Yes.  But it has taken 'years' to get to this point, never the less it's true.  The more you persevere with God, the longer the peace will stay with you, until it gets to the point of permanency, or 99.9% of the time.  :)  It is true, the climb is painful, but worth it....

  20. Far away in the depths of my spirit today.....flows a melody sweeter than psalm.  In celestial like streams it unceasingly fall,  over my soul like an infinite calm.

Peace, peace, wonderful peace.  Flowing down from the Father above.......sweep over my spirit, forever I pray.......in fathomless billows of love...

    Aaaah, the Peace of God...

  21. Yes indeed, many times.

Transcendentalism, beer, sleep, bachelorhood, psilocybin, or just plain good mental health.

    I've also experienced:

    -  The love that surpasses all understanding

    -  The business venture that surpassed all solvency

    -  The marriage that surpasses all description

    -  The curry that surpasses all solar heat.

  22. Yes.  My dad has terminal cancer and isn't doing well.  I was really down about it and God reminded that He was in control and that He was weeping alongside me.  My dad was not miraculously healed, but I knew that God had compassion on me and loved me and my family.  My situation didn't change, but God gave me peace.

  23. Yes I have experienced that.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer and was very nervous and afraid before the surgery.

I prayed to God to protect me and heal me. Suddenly I felt a great peace and calm that still remains to this day 5 yrs later.

I came to the understanding that what most people think of as the worst thing that can happen is death. But death with Christ by your side is a happy thing.

I don't want to leave this life yet I feel there are things I still must get done. But when it does come I will smile and say "lets go " .

God gave me this because He knew I needed help at that point. I had prayed many times for this peace and calm and only achieved it in small doses. But when I really opened up to Him and told him "thy will be done" and really meant it, there it was.
