  1. I own a horse of my own in my backyard. When I was 9 or 10 I fell off and banged my head on the fence without any helmet. I "hated" my horse and wouldn't talk to him for a month, lol but don't be scared. Really, if you trust the horse and yourself you've got nothing to worry about! Don't miss out!

It happens to everyone, its life, i have fallen off way more times than i can count.

But going to Wales for the young riders of great britian, so how ever many times you fall off, get your **** back in the saddle!

    good luck XD

  3. well i started riding a couple years ago, horses are in my blood so i was naturally good at it, but i have gotten bucked off, kicked, stomped on and im still walking! and everything in my body is working great! lol but the thing with horses if you get bucked off.. you gotta cowgirl up and get right back on or the horse just got what he wanted and the horse will pick up bad habbits, but then agian my horse was green broke and she was a mare.. just wear a helmet till you feel confident.. and if your scared the horse will definatly sense that, so just fool around on the horse a bit get on get off.. ride in a small correl.. get someone to lead the horse.. slowly you will build confidence and will want to go just about anywhere on a horse! hope this helps!

  4. Your worries are very common! I have been riding for six years and I can't even count the number of times I have fallen off! But here are some things to help:

If you horse bucks, sit back with a deep seat. This helps your balance.

Also, google the emergency dismount. This is ALWAYS good to know if your horse freaks out and you need to get off. Once, my horse got a bee in her ear and freaked out. If I hadn't known the emergency dismount I would have seriously gotten hurt. Good luck!

  5. i have fallen off a horse but not hard. lol. just dont be scared. maybe dont start off like riding fast or anything. start at a pace you are comfortable at. Just have fun and dont be uptight on top of the horse.

  6. My first fall ((and only fall)) totally off my horse happend on christmas day believe it or not! And me, not thinking, went onto the dirt road ((where there was still ice)) and gave her the kick and off we went... running full bore...

My dad was screaming at me, but it was to late. My horse ((JayJ)) was not going where I wanted and off she went in the ditch and BOOM. She was on her knees and I was out of the saddle. I was never so scared in my life, same with JayJ.

But in the end we were both fine and there was no injuries..

But now, whenever I go to just gallop on that road... I feel un-comfertable.. but it's only THAT road.. so it must deal with the fact we fell like that. But I have just learned to forget about it, the past was the past, and if your horse knows your nervous, then he/she gets nervous too and you dont want that to happen!

So just try to forget about the past and try not be nervous. Just remember, when you are nervous, so is your horse.

    Okay?

Hope I helped by sharing my experience ;)
