Yeah.. Last night. Got well hammered and on my way home i started to skip and sing quite loudly. Need i say it felt quite good. God know what the neighbours must think!

YES! when i climbed out my bedroom window, down the drain pipe,into next doors garden.opened their door which lead to the alleyway and walked around with no where to go. I didnt know where i was or why i was doing it....literally i was as free as a bird

no not really, i think the closest i came was when i first moved out on my own from my parents place and i was free to do what i wanted.

Having to search for your meals all the time "free"?

Having to take care of feeding 2 to 3 babies for 2 to 3 weeks not to mention catching the food "free"? They have to be fed every 20 to 30 minutes for the first 2 weeks then every hour.

Don't forget cleaning the nest?

No, as I can't fly and could never, as a result of this, experience the same level of 'freedom' as a bird, hence I can't ever be as free as a bird in the literal sense, so no I wouldn't know what it feels like to be 'as free as a bird' therefore it would be impossible to give a subjective answer having never been, nor likely to be, able to fly via my own devices.
