  1. Yes. Something happened to my relative the day before. My birthday was so dull and depressing the day after. =[

  2. on one of my birthdays:

we moved from PA to NC

    i didnt get a cake

i had to move in with my grandparents who always wanna spend time with me!!

    on another birthday:

my parents told me we were most likely moving again

i didnt get a cake again..

my parents were out looking for a good house

  3. I'm a foreigner living in Vietnam from the United States.

It was Sunday, August 10, 2008, and my California driving license just expired and I couldn't renew it because I wasn't in California. I went to church and no one even said hello to me. I tried to say hi. Even leaving the worship service, I shook the minister's hand he only smiled at me. I went home and took a nap. I felt so lonely. At 4:00, I woke up. I could treat myself to something nice. So I decided to walk to the Texas Bar BQ house. I walked two blocks and it began to pour rain. I tried to walk some more, but I was soaked. And I didn't want to spend money on a taxi. So I walked back home. I bought I 1.5 liter bottle of Coca-Cola from a mom and pop grocery store and two cans of Tiger Beer, then I stopped at the pizza place across the street from my house. I silently ate the pizza and drank the beer as I tried to get dry and not cry from the loneliness.

It didn't matter to me that I didn't have a gift or that I just turned 51. All that mattered to me was that I was utterly alone.

  4. Nope.. Because it's not the correct time to fall down..

I may fall down any day except my birthday because it's only celebrated once in a year. =]

  5. Yeah. I've never had a good birthday, that's why. Probably because you're supposed to do something fun with your friends, which I don't have.

  6. My 35th was hard and my 36th isn't going to be much better. It's harder every year that I don't have a family because I know my biological clock is ticking.

  7. Only when everyone forgets it!

  8. Yeah. People didnt do anything special for it. Happens every year. I try to make theirs special and when it came to mine no party, no cake, just some happy birthday greetings, etc

    =/

  9. Ya... My sister usually gets all the attention because she does something not important. Then I get in trouble for no reason and i spend my birthday in my room.

  10. Every freaking year.  My birthday is two weeks before Christmas and I hate holidays, so every year on my birthday I always reflect on how another year has gone by and it sucked just as much as the year before, then I get to look forward to having a **** Christmas because I'm alone.

Yeah, I'm usually borderline suicidal for the entire month of December and half of January.

  11. you bet. especially after i turned 50. but then i think how grateful i am to still be around! life is short and i try to appreciate every day, even when they suck! happy birthday sweetie!!!  (today's my daughter's b. day, too. she was born on labor day, 1980)

  12. Yes, just because you feel you're are getting older that much quicker every year. No point in worrying about it.

  13. if today is your birthday then i would like to come over and do a weird creepy little dance for you and give you a pretty flower.

  14. Happy birthday, sweetheart! September one is a sweet day! Don't feel down. Think of the alternative.

    Hugs!!!

  15. Last year I had a stomach virus on my birthday.  I couldn't even go to my own birthday party.  I turned 31 yr old and it SUCKED!

  16. Not really. Had mine on Friday, it was lovely though I was scolded for searching all my friends and family for gifts like an out of work customs officer... I had a brilliant time but now must remember my new age.

  17. Yes, every year.  The clock is ticking, ticking, ticking. I am sad because I haven't accomplished all I wanted to. And I thought I would have by this age.

  18. the 29 was my birthday. i turned 51. i was down but got drunk. the next day i felt worse

  19. Yes, especially when I turned 30 and I thought I have done nothing great with my life.

  20. Found Out The I was Being Cheated on - 2 different Birthdays - different birthday found out my wife was moving out of our house - Yeah I Have Been Down on a Few Birthdays !

  21. oh my god i will never forget it..me and another girl in my class (3rd grade)

had the same birthday and i threw mine a chuckie cheese and she had a pool party. two people showed up at mine, and they were twins.  who has a pool party in march?

  22. Yes I have.  I think it is just the inbalance in my character at times which tends to make me depressed.

  23. Well i havent till this year. I didnt get one thing for my birthday. But i understand things are tight wise in money.

  24. Yeah many times... The main reason coz not everybody got along or it was just too much and I am not a birthday person! So the last 3 years I haven't had a party

  25. It was more of a wake-up call

I realized that once you have kids you no longer have birthdays.

You have to buy them something for your birthday and that make you feel better.

  26. I sometimes feel down in the weeks before my birthday....and the reason is probably just the thought of turning another year older....but the only time I can remember feeling down on the day itself was on my 19th birthday....when I was in hospital recovering from serious illness.

Happy Birthday if it is your birthday today!

  27. Oh yeah, I have. Mainly because I hate all the attention I get on my birthday (I hate attention) and I don't like birthday parties.

  28. The reason was...

    Those boss sterds "remembered" it...

(I was willing to pretend I was getting any older, d**n them...hee hee)

  29. of course especially last year wen my mom only got me a McDonald's apple pie as asubstitute for a cake lol, but i didnt ask 4 1 so maybe thats y

  30. yes, this year in fact.

Not one word from those who call themselves my family.. not one word.

Then out of the blue.. the ones I call my friends from here banded together and turned the day into one of pleasant memories.

oh..my 'family'... they sent e-mails a couple days later.

  31. because my current boyfriend and i weren't dating, but he was sticking with another girl who was cheating him, but after my birthday he asked me out and now we're doing great :)
