Like the things and hobbies that have always interested you don't seem to interest you anymore. I kind of don't feel like doing anything and I don't know what my purpose in life is right now. It's like I'm not sure who I am as a person right now. Has anyone else felt something like this? I started feeling like this yesterday.

  1. My dear "King Louis"....

We "all" get to feel like this "every once in a while"....It's only...human, honey !!! Especially today...-a long time ago...they used to call it:"the Monday-Blues"- Maybe, it still applies today...??? But...you said, it "started yesterday"...so youmaybe...just "ahead of time"....-no...just joking to make you feel "better" !!! Now, let me get "serious", honey...If this "Blues" should "continue"...it sure enough could be a "bout of depression" & should be treated !!! So...I suggest, you "observe" yourself for a "few days"...and if you still feel "down & out", please do see a physician & explain him/her your "state of mind", so you can get some anti-depressant-medication. There is NOTHING..."shameful" about depression & you should get proper treatment, which will help you to feel much better !!! It has helped me a whole lot !!!

Wishing you all the best for the future ! Greetings from Germany with lots of love, care & concern... Annette***

  2. This is the #1 symptom of depression, if it continues more than a week or 2 seek help.  We all get in a funk sometimes, like what's the point of all of this?  Where do I see myself in 5 years?  This is normal as long as it doesn't last a long time.

  3. yeeeeeeeep.................

and then i started the anti depressants!

  4. a few months each year

  5. The whole "purpose in life" thing is a myth.  Our purpose is to reproduce.  That is really about it.
