Have you ever felt inspired by a book, song, or piece of art?

All of the above.  I usually get inspired by books to write my own books.  Funnily enough it's usually the books I hate that inspire me the most because I think I can do them better.  I hated Lord of Rings because it was so stifled and the characters were so stiff that it inspired me to write my own fantasy epic which was much more fun and the characters were much more down to earth, shame no one wanted to publish it!!

Pieces of art have sometimes inspired scenes from my novels but they're rarely well known pieces of art and often obscure ones I see it little art shops.
