  1. no i have never felt like that, to me it was always just taking care of a need.  i never felt like it was violating myself, guess i just never thought like that.  using a tampon is just something that women do to take care of their cycles.

  2. It's totally not.. it's not like masturbation [some people have bad opinons on that] or anything.. it's just protection and a lot of people swear by them... so just take a deep breath and go for it....

visit websites like beinggirl.com or tampax.com they'll give you peace of mind.

  3. You're not violating yourself at all. You're not losing your virginity by using a tampon. Sure, you're inserting something into your private part which I guess can sound a little promiscuous but inserting a tampon is for your period, which is a natural thing your body goes through. And you're not invading your 'personal bubble' either. It's not really possible to invade your personal bubble because it's yours, other people can invade it but you can't. And as you grow up you're going to need to know yourself and your personal space. So basically, my point is that tampons are a natural part of life and you shouldn't feel embarrassed or uneasy about it. And plus, they're so much more convenient then pads. Hope I helped.

  4. No. It's not for masturbation/pleasure. Just tell yourself that.
