Have you ever flown with Delta, what was your opinion? Good / bad and why?

I fly from belgium to USA at least once a year with delta. Delta ok. They give military discounts, so I like them for that.

I have flown many times with Delta, and they are one of my favourite airlines.  They don't do such a lot of international flights, but are huge internally in the USA.  I have always found their flights to be comfortable, and the cabin crews - no dolly birds, for sure - are really friendly, helpful, and treat you like family.  I think this all stems from the fact that Delta are brilliant employers, and treat their staff really well (unlike British Airways), which comes through in the attitude of the staff to the passengers.  Given a choice I would fly with Delta every time.

We flew with Delta from Manchester(UK) to Atlanta and back. Never again. pre booked seats not available even though we were first in Queue. Ran out  of food. baggage on wrong  Carousel. On return charged $50 dollars for cases which weighed same as going out. Ran out of food again. Film broke down. Staff ride and unsympathetic Try virgin

I fly on Delta several times per year, and I think it's a pretty good airline. The airplanes are generally clean, the staff are usually nice, theri frequent flyer program is average to good, their customer service is pretty good in general.
