Have you ever found yourself losing your motivation? ?

Now, I do manage to work 10 hours every day, for whatever the heck that's worth.

I just want to sit at home and watch Law & Order.

Is there any way that I can have my groceries delivered to me and have someone feed me while I just sit here?

Thank Buddha for the USA Network.

Thanks!

  1. I don't think I lost my motivation, I don't think I had it to begin with.

If you want something cool to watch besides Law & Order (which I love, btw) watch The First 48 on A&E.  It's very addicting.

Yes, my dear, you CAN have your groceries delivered, and trust me, it's a beautiful thing especially in the winter time....

As far as having someone feed you, I would be happy to take a road trip to prepare weekly meals for you, or maybe you can pay the neighbor kid a dollar a day to come and shove some food down your gullet.

  2. I am a Law and Order freak too.   My TV usually has TNT or USA on.

Motivation can be elusive, I know.  I worked full time for 28 years and it got to be too much for me.  I have a congenital heart defect that is pretty much controlled with meds but I couldn't continue to work full time.  It took me three years of h**l to get freakin social security.  During those 3 years I was a basketcase.  Social Security wants you to give up and go away.  I stuck it out and I did finally get it.

About 2 years ago I decided I wanted to go back to work part time.  So now I work ocassionally through a temp agency and I love it.

It gets me out of the house for a few days each month and I get to do a lot of different things.

I go through slumps when I lack motivation and I have to make myself participate in my life.  I have found that the only way to survive this life is to just keep moving forward.  Do what you have to do and just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Law and Order is often the highlight of my day.

  3. That sounds nice but it would not be good for you. You stay motivated by thinking of things you want to do in your life. You try to make one thing good at work everyday. I used to find small things to celebrate. I would look up on Yahoo celebrate the date and then celebrate whatever it was. I especially like hug a grouchy person  day and cheese day.

  4. maybe you need to work less hours

and relax so you will feel better

    take care

  5. Darlin', if I worked 10 hours a day, I WOULD pay someone to deliver my groceries and feed me!...heck, I'd pay someone to eat for me if that was at all feasible!

As for me, I just want to watch CSI...thank God for Spike TV (even though it's showing The Phantom Menace tonight...again...)...

  6. awww sweetie,

here let me rub your shoulders and feed you tofu!!!

    *rub rub*

  7. From what you've said I can see that you are not a planner. Go to google, and enter "personal timeplanning" see what you come up with.

Now you know if someone delivers your groceries they are going to cost you BIG TIME. Who in the heck is going to cook it, and feed you? Let's get real please. Cook stuff in advance, and freeze to use later!!!!! tada!

You have to make a list to schedule your time for cleaning, grocery shopping, tv watching, exercise.

You did not say if you earning overtime on the 10 hour days, or if you are working a 4 day 10 hour day. Can you make any adjustments on that?

You lost your motivation due to TV!
