Have you ever gave up on something then regretted it?

Like a job, a person, a project, a plant....anything then regretted it later? Why?

Music.

I wish I kept practicing piano. Then I would know so much more about music. I want to be a musician, but it looks like I will have to tackle that later in life and relearn everything.
