Have you ever gotten a knee down?

I want to know how many "hardcore" sportbike riders on here have even gotten their pucks scraped.

I've gone through 2 pairs last season on the street alone. Sorry officer.

  1. I put training wheels on my RC51. It was just so SCARY when it leaned over. OHHHH NOOOO!!!!

  2. I do it on the track but doing that on the road isn't very smart. Plus I feel like a dork wearing my full race suit on the road.

  3. And this is impressive because?

  4. Not hardcore on any bike and I hope I NEVER get anything but my feet down when Im sittin still. I was probably more hardcore on my bicycle when I wasnt so lazy. Used to go for 50 mile pleasure rides on that.

  5. good answer snoop, its not only his knees that he tears up,he had to cut more leather out of his assless chaps for better penetration too.

  6. I have never had pants with pucks, so no knee down.  I barely have any chicken strips less than 1/8 of an inch so I think I could though.  I have already touched the peg feelers down a time or two though and they have the wear to prove it.

  7. I have scraped my knees more times than I can remember on the race track.  But that was a while ago.  I don't ride that aggressive on the street.

  8. Feet on the pegs, knees on the tank. Have a nice day.

  9. I don't scrape (jeans have no knee protection)

but I don't have any chicken strips either, soooo...

  10. 1 and 1/2 sets of Asphalt&Gas "Happy Face" this year.

  11. Yes,as much as possible.'Hero blobs' are half gone.Maybe Santa will get me some Rear-sets for Christmas.

  12. I never done it but I tore the front of a nice pair of Nikes in a curve. Rookie mistake. I shifted my seat position to take an off ramp curve that was really deep. Forgot to move my foot back on the peg and the pavement caught the tip of my right sneaker and pulled it right under. I was blessed I didn't brake my ankle on the peg.

I've been in some curves where I thought some knee pads would come in handy as I would have liked to try draggin a knee. But to answer the question, no sir have not as of yet.

  13. Why does this just cover sport bikes?  I don't know what a puck is, but I know Levis peel right off.

  14. I guess if you hang off far enough, it's pretty easy to drag your knees on the pavement.  Try dragging the pegs on a 760 pound full dress touring bike (Japanese, not a low hanging Harley) and then we'll talk.
