I did. Woo Hoo. Maybe you can too.

My answer was picked as Best Answer....by the Asker..

yet someone (maliciously) reported it as a violation for NOT answering the question...WELL DUH..

if the asker said it was the BEST ANSWER..what do YOU THINK???

"We have reviewed your appeal request. Your content was not in violation. Your content has been reposted, and we apologize. Thank you again. Regards, Yahoo! Customer Care" [Edited for brevity].

So ......

you can successfully appeal malicious reports and you can get two points for bragging right here folks...

  1. Yes, only once.

  2. There is a first time for everything.  And no, they have not restored any question or answer flagged of mine by someone else.

Hopefully, this represents a new trend for YA.

  3. I have been here since February and I have had had 50 answers violated I have had 49 restored

(One of them was a complete violation I was extremely rude so I deserved it)

    So yeah...I know it's possible.

  4. Yes....Oddly enough I just had my first question restored within the last few hours despite the fact that I did not appeal the violation.

Actually; I have given up appealing violations which never were successful  anyway & instead have resorted to constantly changing & disguising my name & avatar in the hope of preventing the Obamabots from violating my questions and answers for the next couple of days.

Eventually the Obamabots " recognize " who I am & start violating virtually all of my questions & answers all over again and..............I am once again forced to assume a new name and avatar.

It is refreshing to see brave souls such as yourself who do not have to resort to this silly game that the Obamabots force some of us to  play.
