  1. Yes.

  2. *No dear !!!! no such luck !!

  3. I love Pho, my mom make home made Pho, so it better then at other Pho store. I eat Pho with spicy soup, shimp, sometime squid, chicken, and chinese donut. ^_^

  4. I live in Philadelphia. We have lots of Pho places here, but I first had it in Hanoi in a fancy hotel. It was the hit of the breakfast buffet (I play in an orchestra, we were on tour, it was included). There was only one option for beef, not 'shank', fatty gristle, tendon, belly, or what-not that are the highlight of the Pho places I've been to in the states.

The assortment of ingredients to throw in were about the same, maybe a couple more in Viet Nam. Also, the broth just tasted better in Viet Nam, at least in my memory. Haven't tried to make it at home yet, though.

  5. I really like pho, but it's not as good as a bowl of bun thit heo nuong.

  6. pho is great, unless they use tripe.

  7. I love Pho so much.  I just had some today but I also can't tell the difference between 1-33.  I usually just order the #1 and enjoy.

  8. I adore pho.  You are right that they are all very similar, with different choices of meats added.  It's a very traditional comfort food.  They eat it for breakfast in Viet Nam!

Some places do a pho with veggies and tofu, but that is not traditional.

  9. No, but I want to now.

  10. I say try them all. It won't hurt you.

  11. Yes, I love pho, I'm half vietnamese so I eat it alot, If you love pho you should try the beef stew, the broth is very distinctive, it's spicy and red. Also, some phos come with this bread i forgot what it's called but it's dipped into the broth.
