I'm Mexican, born in Cali but go there sometimes. #1 Don't  drink the water! Seriously! Me and a friend got soooo sick one time. Bring bottled water. And I have had to pay off the crooked a** cops who said I drove "illegally".. He kept talking about not having receipts to give me a ticket so I would have to come to the station. I said ok  but he kept hemming & hawing about it and I asked if I could just give the money to him. He was like "oh, ok if you're sure". So innocently. So watch out for them! Stay in a crowd, don't get too drunk, don't flash money, be aware of your surroundings. Act like you know what you're doing and don't draw attention to yourself. In short, be responsible and you should be ok.

Me neither, I'm from Mexico City, people in Tijuana are a little distrustful with strangers, but that's because the movement of the border. Mexicali it's more friendly, if you are latina, probably the people will be treat you as a local.

well no, but that is usually because i go with my family and it's you know a pg night, but my friends have. they go to TJ to party and once my friends got pulled over by a cop and had to pay him off inorder to not introuble but i don't think that anything truly bad has happened. why do you ask?
