I've had 2 regular ear lobe piercings done with one and also a cartilage piercing done with one and I have never had any problems. My cousin has had 3 regular holes done and a cartilage also. While my friend did have her lobe infected, but that was because she didn't clean it. Now I hear all these people want the piercing gun to be banned cause it can cause infections but isn't that a risk with a piercing needle too? That's a risk with any piercing. I really don't see why a needle or "gun" is such a big deal. In my opinion, it's the piercer's fault for doing a faulty job or the person being pierced for not cleaning it if it gets infected. But maybe that's just cause I don't know that much about piercings. Is there really that much of a difference between the gun or the needle if all people involved know what they're doing? and have you ever had a bad experience with the gun?

I'm sooooooooo afraid to get anywhere of my body pierced

  5. no

i have 2 pierces on each ear

  6. i had a bad experiance. When they shot the gun thing in my ear the back of the earing got stuck in the gun and she couldn't get it out, eventually she did but it hurt. Now i cannot wear earings at all because everytime i try to my ears turn red and it hurts. i get what you say when you don't understand the diffrence between a needle and a gun, i don't either, but maybe it is just the way the gun does it compared to a needle. You can never really trust technology. Well i wish you luck with your piecing issue.

  7. I would avoid piercing guns for several reasons. First of all, the piercing is achieved by using blunt force trauma and is often too short for the piercing itself, thus crushes or severely damages the tissue.

Additionally, guns cannot be properly sanitized in the same way that a straight needle can. The gun is made of plastic and cannot be cleaned in Autoclave- a potent sterilizer. Simply wiping the gun with an alcohol pad is not an effective mode of sterilization.

  8. nope

    i have my ears pierced

and i dont really remember it

but i want to pierce the top of my ears, and put the rings on it,

and double pierce 1 of my ears

    but im to chicken

  9. I used to work for a company that made the ear piercing guns & they used to do free ear piercings sometimes. I saw somebody get her ear pierced & the gun only made the earring pierce halfway through her ear &  it had to be done over. In this case it was the gun that was faulty, not the piercer. Although I don't think this is common, it's probably better to get it done with a needle.

  10. I've helped a few of the doctors pull those things out of little girls' ears because they're not long enough for swelling and can become lodged in the skin. While there are the same risks with needle piercings, they are much, much lower and since there's less tissue damage with a needle the piercing heals faster. The way they tell you to clean it actually cleans it vs. the c**p they give you in a bottle that does little to nothing. Not to mention that the gun is made out of a cheap metal that's really not suitable to be used in the body for long periods of time.

  11. nope
