  1. A Jr fan threatened me because I booed Jr at the driver intro even though he booed every driver but Jr and he said that I shouldnt boo the son of a legend, and I said well Jr sure as h**l ain't a legend and never will be and it pissed him off so much that he threatened to kill me even though he was saying worse things the whole day. I told him if Jr won this race I'll kill my d**n self, but if he loses I want you to march your fat you know what the heck away from me. Sure enough Jr lost and the man was nearly in tears.

  2. Yes, but it is not what you expect. up until this year I was a driver for nascar in the weekly racing series at my local short track. I had this goofy stalker fan that was EVERYWHERE i went on the property. He was a JR. fan. For some reason he just wanted to talk to me, touch my car and take pics...it made me crazy.

  3. Yes Jr nation threw beer at my son cody at the Darlinton race. They tried to hit Kyle Busch but missed and the can said "F U Kyle - Love Jr Nation" it was so rude

  4. Been to Martinsville countless times. Have witnessed all sorts of fans, not all jr fans, getting seriously drunk and disgusting. I just enjoy my weekend and watching the race. I have never had any problems with anyone. I guess that makes me not a part of this thing you all call Jr nation. Even if I wear his stuff and pull for him every weekend win or loose.

  5. i've been to busch/nationwide and cup races at both vegas and fontana, and have never really had any major problems. yeah, you get some drunken loudmouths, but you get that nearly anywhere you go with a crowd who has access to alcohol. as for which fans, the majority of fans at nearly every race i've been to have been junior fans, but they usually are more entertaining than annoying, at least until the last hour or so...

but there are a heck of a lot of tony stewart, jeff gordon, and jimmie johnson fans round these here parts, and there's a decent number of busch brothers fans around as well. but i still think you could add them all up and probably only barely outnumber the junior fans. not as many as talladega probably, but a very high proportion.

  6. rowdy you have it easy for me when I when to the coke zero 400 I was in a section of jr fans andi was in trouble and you gust it I m a rowdy fan. Also i was looked at by other jr fans wile going to my seat and some drunk guys were fing rowdy fans other that that and my jr fan brother punching me in the stumich it was all right.

  7. Just go to a local short track or something. Great racing without the c**p.

  8. Same as first poster. I had an experience with a group of JR fans at Talladega. I was surrounded by them and I was wearing an Elliot Sadler shirt and they kept saying "I hope he wrecks like in 2003 only this time it puts him in the hospital a while. He has no business out there with guys like Jr. He needs to get rid of his self before he takes another person out with him if you know what I mean" It was so bad that they kept doing that all race long and I finally had to leave early and I've not made any plans to go back since.

  9. no i want too though it would be cool

  10. Never.  All races I've gone too have been great experiences.

  11. Tony Stewart fans like to throw beer bottles.

    I mean cans.

  12. Nope. Did have a few comments about taking my twins when they were 1, though.

  13. i dont let them bother me

    like you

  14. nope i aint a sissy like you

  15. i never had a problem with one but i have only been to one race live.

  16. Never had a problem with any fans, just parking at the races; but that is a way different story and it is almost as bad as having an experience with a deranged fan.

  17. Not at all.  And it's nice that I have been to many races and you never know who's fan is going to be sitting by you.  It didn't matter because no matter what WE are the true fans...the ones who pay good money to watch the race and allow others who paid good money to enjoy it themselves.  It was almost family atmostphere...we all had one thing in common...to watch and hope that our driver won. . No one ruined for us by any berating or belittling or name calling...anything like that...NOT ONCE.   The closest I came was the Loudon race that was called because of rain and when Eliiot Sadler came in 5th I was cheering and yeah...people were looking at me like I was a bit weird.  Not that Kurt Busch won the race but that Elliot came in 5th.  :0)

  18. No, not really...The only bad experience was when I went to Vegas for a race!!!We got in a taxi to go to the track from a casino. The traffic was way backed up...The taxi driver said it,ll take us an hour to get to the track in the traffic we were in...So we ended up in a strip club and my buddy(retired single old guy)spent 2500.00 bucks there!!!!

  19. The only real trouble I have had at the races was at Martinsville, fall 2006. There was a large group of Johnson fans about two rows behind us. They were all totally drunk by the time the race started, and had no intention of slowing down it seemed. The problem started when a man and his girlfriend started arguing over beer. Apparently they had not packed enough to slake they thirst and were bickering over who had drank more than the other. During this time my friends wife got up and went to the restroom, and while she was gone the girlfriend, decided to avoid more fighting by moving down and trying to take Mel's seat. We tried to reason with her and ask her to move, but she was just being belligerent and nasty, refusing to move. She thought we should accommodate her, and one of us move into her seat beside her man. The whole time her boyfriend was cussing her, cussing us, and trying to pick a fight with anyone who was watching. We eventually had to get security to move her, and all they did was put her back in her seat. They never even tried to remove her from the stands. So we got to spend the rest of the race with them heckling everyone. Which must have been quite a re-bonding experience, because they were happy as could be when they left. Granted their driver did win.

  20. I've always had a great time at the few races I've been to.  I like Stewart but I've never had a problem with Jr fans, Gordon fans, or anyone else.

  21. Once at Pocono a lot of drunken people were causing trouble  and the cops had to handle it and it just became a circus. But when I went to Charlotte the fans were great and I had a wonderful time

  22. Well not personally, but when we went to the Pepsi 400 a few years back there was this man (who was a Kasey Kahne fan, yep) who was so freaking hammered everytime the #9 car would drive by he would yell "AHH YEA KASEY OUUHH YEA GO KASEY KANE!"

After 6 more beers and 30 more laps Kasey for the first time made it into the top 10 on the scoring thing. Oh boy... he saw it too, I could tell what was coming. Next time Kasey went by on the backstretch he screamed so loud and jumped up so fast the beer he was holding literally got launched 2 seats over onto this ladys head. It was actually pretty funny, the woman was just sitting there in complete shock dripping with beer and the guy just looks at her and goes "oh..... AHHH YEA GO KASEY KAHNE!!!!!!!"

LOL thanks to my brother that was with us we have many pictures to remember the whole event.

  23. ive been to many of races and only had one problem when i sat in the upper bleaches never a problem down in the lower sections there and i get a buzz drink a few beers cheer for my drivers and have fun not to abnoshis but anyways the one year i sat up high these s****. people seated next to us were like church going high class snobs with there noses in the air thought there **** didnt stink kept saying stuff to us so i yelled louder anyway it was tuff luck on them but i never sat in the snob section again im glad all nascar fans are not like them people it must have been there first race i accually got the tickets from a friend were i worked at disney world come to find out them people were his family hahahaaha other than that never had a problem and been to many other  tracks except when i raced i had a few skermishes on the track and in pits when i go to the track as a fan i try and respect everyone but them people were strange just like the guy who i bought the tickets from cause he couldnt go this was a daytona race

  24. I was verbally raped in the proverbial @ss by a Jr fan at Dover.....Martin Truex Jr that is

  25. I've never ever had a bad experience at a track. But my Mom took care of one fan last year at Bristol. She's a Jimmie Johnson fan and was decked out in all her JJ stuff. There was a couple right in front us and I really can't say who they were fans of. But anyhow, the guy said something obscene about Jimmie and my Mom cuffed him on the side of the head and told him to watch his language and mind his manners. He said, "Yes, Ma'am! Sorry!"  I bought Mom another beer!

  26. Most every race I have been to I have had some trouble. I would get a lot of stupid DRUNKS screaming at me to lift my top.  But the most trouble I have had is with the people working at the tracks. This is why I will never go to another race again.

  27. No, thank goodness!
