Have you ever had a box relaxer make your hair fall out??

My Mom just did mine for the first time, and now im scared because i read that you should only get it done at salons.

I did the just 4 me Relaxer.

Ok don't panic. Yes it is always better to get your chemicals done professionally, but it is not likely that "Just for Me" will make your hair fall out. "Just for Me" is not as strong as other relaxers because its made for little girls getting first time relaxers. But if you are still worried, buy a deep conditioner or hair repair system (Aphogee) and follow the directions. I think your hair will be fine. And if you are still unsure, go to a professional stylist and have that person give you a consultation on your hair condition.

Yes but only because the person who was doing my hair didn't know what they were doing.And they combed most of my hair out.

You can get a relaxer ANYWHERE. My sisternlaw does mine at home and I've never had any problems.

You can get your hair relaxed at home- I used to do it all the time. Your hair might fall out if the relaxer has either expired or it wasn't put in the right way, like it sat in for too long. Don't worry, if you have no discomfort within the first few hours, you should be all set :-D
