LOL

this happened to me today.

Our outdoor cat ALWAYS comes over to greet me, RUNNING after me, meowing and all.

Today he like hugged my leg after I pet his silly feline noggin, and the critter BIT my leg! I said, "Look ya little freak stop biting me!"

He happily ran away, then started clawing on a nearby tree.

I couldn't believe he PUT TEETH marks in my leg "for fun"!

What a silly cat, sheesh!

  1. They are love bites.

One of my cats does that to me sometimes, but not too hard.

Sometimes he gets overly excited though and bites hard, so I just yell ouch and he gets it that he's hurting me.

  2. Mine does that all the time.  He's indoor.  I often getmy ankles ambushed when I get up at night to use the bathroom.

  3. LMAO, He's like puffing his meal or sth!!

I think he loves you so much that he tried to kiss you!!

  4. ha ha. My cat just rubbed against me and bit me while i was reading your question. Its a love bite. Sometimes they get a little too exited. It is typically known as a sexual behavior and mainly it is males that do this. They do it to other female cats as well.  Sometimes when they get too exited and affectionate at the same time they confuse this with sexual stimulation and they give you a love bite. Then they will go run off like a crazy kitty and claw the furniture marking their scent and showing their dominance.  Its a testosterone thing.

  5. Lol yes all the time! When I'm just petting my cat Daisy, and she's purring loudly and is so relaxed, she "bites" me on my arm with just her lips. Then she starts actually biting with her teeth XD And she'll still be purring

  6. I am almost sure this is affection that your cat was doing to your leg...lol

I have a female cat and she wll rub against my feet when I am bare foot and then she will bite my toe because I ain't petting her enough and if I reach down to pet her she will bite also if I am not petting her the way she likes which is fast and steady.

  7. Awe.. that made me laugh!!

That's your kitties way of saying "hi" and he loves you

    too cute
