  1. i have.. always when i am about to die in a bad dream i would fall down the stairs at my grandmas old house and wake up hot, heart racing, and shaking im curios to the other answers to this question

  2. its probabley just a illusion of your mind.or maybe when you were having the dream your body moved like you were on a swing,so when it broke, and your freaked, your body freaked and you woke up shaking becuz all your movement shook the bed

  3. There are four levels of sleep that we all go through every day going to sleep and waking up, one of these levels of sleep is where Hypnosis works on the mind and any dream you may have during this stage of sleep would cause your brain to react just as if the dream were real so when you woke up that way , your mind made it seem so real to you that it caused you to react as you would for real.

  4. It sounds to me that your dreams are somehow related to trauma. It could either be a bad experience from your past, like if you broke your arm or were in a car accident, or it could be your conscience reflecting that it is scared of being injured somehow. The swing just screams childhood to me, because that is most likely when you would get on a swing-set. Dreams like this are common, for example, the legendary falling dream, when you fall off of a high location, the legend part being that if you hit the ground in your sleep, you die, but of course this is untrue and commonly not experienced because the person typically wakes up out of fear before this happens.

Dreams in general reflect our subconscience, what we're really feeling on the inside, what is bothering us, and what thoughts are unaddressed before we go to bed. For example, i was thinking of somebody i really missed before i went to sleep the other night and i dreamed about that person. Another example of this would be when i had a dream that i smiled in the mirror and there were thousands of bugs on my teeth, because i am a very vain person and my mind was showing that i am vain by concocting this illusion during my sleep. This could indicate something major, or something minor, but the truth is that only you can truly find the answer for yourself, because we as studiers of psychology can only help you interpret what knowledge you must use to find the meaning of your dreams.

Best of luck, and i hope this helps.

  5. And you probably take a deep breath right upon waking up? It is one of the most common experience of sleep. I have noticed it seems to happen most commonly during sleep entrance, or the transition point from awake to sleep state.

This makes me thing that it has something to do with the minds resistance to the profound change of consciousness that occurs as sleep begins, subsequently leading to a state of dizziness, confusion, a sense of falling and ending with a feeling of brief panic before waking up.

  6. I remember I once dreamt that I was getting pushed back to the edge of a cliff by a man and when I fell off the cliff in my dream, I actually fell off my bed.

  7. NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  8. Not like that but I have had dreams where i am concious enough to realize that I jerk my legs and arms like I has having a dream where a vase was being dropped and it was gonna hit my legs so I Jerked my legs it crashed on the ground and I woke up screaming!!!!
