Have you ever had a lucid dream like this? I don't know how to explain it except that something jumped on me..

I was sitting on a chair talking to someone in my dream, and I fell off the chair. That's when I became consious that I was dreaming because I realized that I'd fallen and I wasn't embarassed.

I looked at the person I was talking to and asked him if he was real. He said yes. I said, "if you are real, come touch my hand". He moved away. I said, "what, you can't hear me?".

Then, all of a sudden, I couldn't see anything but my body started vibrating violently, more like a buzzing. I felt a warm sensation going throuch my body and slowly reaching my head. I felt pressure too. I prayed and prayed and finally was able to open my eyes and get out of it. I was consious the entire time.

Has this happened to you?

By the way, I often have sleep paralysis, but this was nothing like it.

  4. Mine was similar, except I was sitting on my living room couch in a different home.  There were a few people standing before me talking (somehow I just knew) about where they were going to put me.  That's when I then realized I was consious of my own dream and my eyes opened half way.  That's when I saw my bed (as I was lying on my side with my head propped slightly upwards) and they then disappeared.  It was very frightening for me to be able to see my bed and a portion of my bedroom floor but to still be dreaming.  From the half of my line of sight that was covered by my eye lids, I saw a blurred image of a woman whose waist-down was nonexistent seeing as how I could only see my room from there downward.  She placed her hand on my shoulder, turned around, then walked into the mirror that hangs from my door, and I woke up.  It was terrifying, but amazing at the same time.  I'd like to think that there was significance to that instance, because seriously, wouldn't that make a dull life just that much more interesting?

  5. I have had lucid dreams were I have realized I was dreaming. Obviously I have never had this dream before, but I have had ones like it. Almost every night I have one...mild ones, but I know that I am dreaming. See, when I have nightmares and I want to wake up, I squeeze my eyes shut in my dream and I say 1,2,3, mommy and open my eyes. Consciously I open eyes, thus waking up. Somehow when I was little I convinced myself this was the only way to wake up so now that's what I do to wake up... weird I know...  :D
