Have you ever had a problem with animals creeping in the chimney?

like a nest or a raccoon up there and you had to hire somebody to eliminate the problem with the animal ?

onoly until I put a cap on it. If you can't afford that, put some window screening across the top and affix with some roof patch. Nothing worse than the smell of incinerated squirrel

I love this...Years ago, a friend of mine and I were removing an incinerator from a residence. When we were working on a new boiler, we heard scratching noises coming from the smoke pipe of this incinerator. We removed the pipe to the front yard, and found a large raccoon trapped inside the pipe. He was fine, but we were not! We still talk about this today. Ha, Ha!
