  1. Not worth it.  My husband and I did that on the honeymoon--Carnival ship--and we could chose b/t deckside or inside the spa.  Well my husband didn't want to be on the deck with everyone watching, so we picked inside.  The room was full so we weren't even in the same room with each other.  Completely not worth it.

Even if you had been in the same room, it's not like you can even see each other.  You are face down on a table.  For a lot of people, they moan or fall asleep during a massage and feel uncomfortable really relaxing in public.

I'd much rather do one of the other couples things--like the couples mud bath or sauna treatment.  Even getting a pedicure would at least allow you to still see each other.

But as far as the spa in general--I think its great to book a spa treatment.  I mean after all, it is vacation!!

  2. we got an erotic massage , you pick your maseuse and watch each other get rubbed down really good . partially clothed or nude.

  3. yes i have, i enjoyed it however it isn't like we got to converse during the actual massage and my partner actually fell asleep. what was really fun was a couples mud bath! we got to exfoliate eachother and then put a clay mask on eachother and sit in a steam room together...then shower off! much more fun than just a massage. but if you are looking for relaxing, then its great... just make sure they dont over charge you, it should be about $20-$30 less then if you booked two individually.

  4. Yes, my partner and I had one together in the spa of our resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica last Summer. He actually fell asleep during it. I had the hot stone therapy one and he had a deep tissue one. He was on the table right next to me and when they are done they take your hands and put them together with your partners. It was sweet! Very expensive though, I think those 2 massages cost close to $300. But hey, we were on vacation. I think it was the Red Lane Spa.
